I would like to express my appreciation towards Isk, for being a great Realm Leader, (even if he can't stand it).
Without him, none of this would likely ever have come to be.
We owe our thanks to him for being brave enough to introduce this sport to us, and what's more, leading the charge and putting so much of his time and effort into this most excellent pastime, for all of our gain.
It is not to say you are the only contributor, but you have undeniably been key to the installment and development of this grand sport, and our Belegarth realm of An Tir Dearg.

Your leadership is something I look up to, as are your fighting skills. Thank you Iskatyel.

I would like to express appreciation for Tiberius, whom has shown strong support for our group since his initial involvement. From his regular attendance, to his willingness to step forward and shoulder the workload, he has without a doubt proven time and time again invaluable to our realm.
I am impressed at his drive to lead, and certainly his extremely helpful insights on realm business, regarding all topics, big and small.

I would like to thank scottsman, Patchiz, Link, and Zach Ott for really going full tilt with their foam smithing. It's such a vital skill for our game and the increasing number of spare weapons will really help us out when the weather starts to warm a bit and our numbers increase.

thanks Tibby, anything to help our sport growing. Have a few more spares coming. Anyway I would like to thank Isk for the broken ear cartilage,taught me a valuable lesson on keeping my head out of the way.

I have thought this thread was a positive idea from Libra's first suggestion and I am really glad to see what has been done with it. My biggest fear in posting is leaving anyone out, but I want to echo the thanks that have been given to all of the people making and brining weapons for everyone to use. I want to thank each of you for inviting people and keeping our interaction with spectators positive and welcoming. I want to thank everyone who has helped others to make it to events. I want to thank everyone who takes the time to herald and learn the rules. You guys have been an awesome team in making this realm happen. I am proud to know that if for some reason I could no longer be here, you would carry this on solidly into the future. Thank you for the kind words directed at me and the trust placed in me to lead and guide our realm forward. ATD ROCKS!

I have to give my appreciation to God for sending the ATD group into our lives.
Isk your supportive nature and willingness to teach, train, advise and play with us all is a motivation for me to return to the field every wednesday. Your vurtually an encyclopedia of resource knowledge, and yet ya stay humble, your an amazing leader.

Libra, from the moment of our first introduction ya have not wavered in temperment or skill. Ya are a famous character by far and large because of your fighting skill, as we are all aware. I must add that as an example on and off the field ya have been a tribute to fortitude, resiliance and honor. Thanks so much for stature in spirit and in character.

Tiberius... I was awed at your ability to create a solidarity of thought and action amongst young people. I fought by your side for a short period during a single night of practice and once we were done my admiration rose and my ego realized I had some team playing learning to work out. I have watched previous scenerios video taped and as I recognize the disolvement of Legion XXV is here, I'm a bit sad. Your strength of strategy, practical application and sense of individual ability I hope will not loose it's luster or be neglected by the realm members. Your a mountain of magnificense, Hale Tiberius.

Tona, your a pirate and not easily flattered, beings that your jaded and all,(comical relief)yet ya have been a guide closest to my vocabulary of guide. Ya have given me oppurtunities to grow in social skill and have actually revitalized my enregy for out of realm activities. Ya are a harbor of trust. An affirmation to all who dare to see there is hope for all.

To the remainder of the group, a list of various ages and skill, thanks for the battles, and for the laughter. Wednesday nights are just not the same without the "meat" of opposition.

I want to thank Isk (and his wife) for taking the time out to run us down to Littlefield, AZ today to check out and secure our event site on her birthday. You're both real troopers when it comes to juggling life and taking care of us in the Realm.

Mega thanks to Patchiz for the quality garb she's making at decent prices as well as for her bold take on archery. It's really nice to fight an archer and to hear you taking charge calling your shots.

A shout out to scottsman for taking all the great pictures he has over the past two weeks, along with heralding. I'm thankful you're staying busy with us in spite of your injury.

Many thanks also to Isk for leading by example and accomplishing the self-appointed mission of belt flags and tokens. Also thanks for continuing to be our front man with Tim at the site and with our caterer.

I also want to thank Ares, Link, and Ogre for their continued interest in the game, their fine sportsmanship, and their desire to fight hard and excel. The field would not be the same without you guys.

A bit late in reply, but thanks Patches for your great compliments. I really appreciate them.

Honor. Friendship. Strength. Perhaps this motto is more than an idea,perhaps some like myself have searched for these qualities amongst thousands of folks. Perhaps the motto has a fiberous life and light of worth to me. May be just may be, changes of enviroment, and society can change, yet the moral conduct of one individual can be shown to another regardless of gender, lifestyle, personal history or group affiliation. Yes I see this is possible because of the young men and women I have met at Nisson park on Wednesday nights. I appreciate the friendship for my part. I enjoyed being amongst individuals who did not disclude me because of my ability or inability, my affiliation or neah.

I would like to thank all members of the Council for the serious thought they put into our decision for WoR this year. In hindisght it seems like the easiest of choices to make, but I assure you it weighed heavily on my heart to ask you to turn it into a day event.

I would also like to thank the members of the Realm who have been attending recently - these last two weeks have given us good numbers. Thank you and please continue to show, we enjoy having you around for friendship and fighting!

Next I would like to thank Saltmistress Phyllis, Phil, and Stephanie from Hammar Heim for coming up from Vegas to check our our practice. Stephanie took the field for a little bit and fought sword and board and did some archery with Patchiz. Afterwards, I group of 12 of us went out to Denny's for coffee and conversation. It was a very good time and I think we've made new friends in the medieval fighting community. Thank you Brian and Denise for coming into our lives and bringing your friends with you. We are enriched by your participation. Hope to see Hammar Heim at The King's Tourney in November.

Tonight is especially a high for me thanks to the An Tir Dearg Realm and The Hammerheim Guild. Being with both groups at the same time gave me the oppurtunity to unite two groups I share a fondness for. Loosing my guard at coffee tonight gave me a chance to listen and be listened to as though surrounded by non harsh judgement. I will ever remember the "snort" and the "what will ya give for the creamer" as moments of unity. Joyful tear for this part of the journey, joyous yes indeed. Boistress unbridled acceptance is yet another attribute I'm finding amungst ya all. And who was the young man in the corner sitting next to Stephanie...ha ha ha..whoever he is and wherever he came from he made me laugh also. Comical banter without critism is refreshing, thanks to all of ya. Tibs thanks for your mention of my and Brian's(grammar)contributions to the group.

Brian is leaving for his parents and informed me to get a ride to practice tomorrow night from a friend. So friend(s), if ya dare claim me to be,humble giggle, send me a message about gettin a ride to practice, and do not mention that one time when I walked,in the rain and wind, I'm not feeling that anxious at the moment.ha ha ha. I would appreciate making a show to practice and giving Gemini his strider/ranger hoodie, and being on time. Much humble thanks.

Perhaps with a ride and some arrows me and the bow can get some action.;)

So tenderly doth ya esteem within my tinkering thoughts. Each of ya have some project I would like to do for ya filed in my mental list. Thanks for the motivations gentlemen. Now that Wain is home the deshi stand one more in strength, and that is pleasing yes. To Link I say get ready to rumble, just kidding brah. Be glad to have ya on the field again and from the fresh killed zone I will with a big grin watch ya and Libra and Isk clobber, and race all over the field. LOL. Tibs and his band of merry Vikingers also,lol.

Thank you everyone. I slept very, very soundly last night and haven't had that stiff of a workout at practice for quite a while. I really appreciate everyone who comes out to enjoy this game. There would be no practice without each of you there to make it awesome.

Also, sorry to those that took headshots from me. Last night seems to have been a big night for headshots all the way around and I wanted to apologize to those that took one from me.

Finally: CONGRATULATIONS to Scottsman on receiving his senior tabard. This recognition of his service to the realm is well earned and also reflects the dedication of Patchiz in their efforts to improve the appearance of our realm as a whole. We look forward to many more years of enjoying their company on and off the field.

At practice on 1/18 my set idea was to practice wrist shots, however the games we played distrcted my focus,lol, and well we all now how spazzed I was. Anyway please accept my humble apology for any spazz I may have had that night that may or may not inflicted those pesky bad over powered shots to non legal target areas.

As for Khalon thanks for letting me grapple ya, even though I may or may not have been a corpse with all the light shots.

I would also like to applaude Link for not letting family relations or persuasive chatter on my part change or influence his haralding! Bravo!

As for watching the development of the Winterfangs ya guys are bitchin cool to watch!Having the new language and happy skippyness adds for me another reason to smile on and off the field.

And as for the anonymous throat shot I got well no bruising and today my pallet feels less swollen so appearantly healing from foam damage isn't too bad.lol.
