Fiberglass snow markers...

I found a site that describes but doesn't seem to sell, 3/8 rectangular fiberglass 'Snow Markers'. Anyone seen these before? Tried them as cores? Know where to buy them??? I'm on an internet hunt at the moment. Looking for availability and cost.

Here's another site with the rectangular snow markers. More info, and I guess they sell them, but I can't find the pricing or maybe My eyes are just tired.

I think these are plastic. What do you think of these for cores? They come in sizes from 4' to 10' apparently with an outer diameter of 1.3" or 1/5" but no listing for inner wall diameter.

finally, a site that shows the elusive rectangular snow markers and a PRICE! Sold individually not in the box, but with discounts for quantity orders. Price seems to be $8.10 for 48" x 3/8 poles (scroll down to the bottom of the page).

Hmmm, no I've never tried them. I'd be interested to see how the thicker rectangular ones work out.

If they're plastic and not fiberglass then they won't stand up to what we do.

Sorry, I've been MIA on the boards with weddings and holidays and I really should be working on a work project right now. The fiberglass slats can work great for handles in punches. thanks for the heads up that they are used as snow markers, I'll look for those. They don't usually work out well for swords because they flex too much in the flat plane and by the time you double them up they're too massive. The hollow cored plastice tube thing just won't stand up. Hope that helps.
