Jav Fins

I would think that they could possibly help keep the jav straight, though that does still depend on technique and strength. Their best use though, could be to help n00bs know which end to Point towards the enemy since the yellow cover isn't always idiot proof.

 I've used a jav with fins before and I agree with your reasons to do it. I don't think it is particularly helpful or worthwhile for someone who can already throw a jav well, but it may help the jav to hit point when thrown by a n00b. I am all in favor of anyone who is interested giving it a shot, though. As a performance and ethics note, the fins should only EVER be made from ostrich feather and fastened down with hemp twine. Duct tape fins also work, are more durable, effective and stiffer, but are clearly a sin against nature and all that is right and good in the art of hitting people with foam. Off the top of my head, I would think about a two-inchish rise and about 6 inches long. YMMV.

 They have colored duct tape that could work better for fins than the ungodly silver stuff. I've seen pics of finned jav's in Narnia. They worked but were used more for theatrics from what I understand. Konradr

 Training wheels for my jav.......yep. So any filler for the duct tape or just duct tape. |
