Summer is coming and linen makes some mighty fine garb. Real linen adds to the legitimacy of your garb if you're attempting to go historical.

if you dont mind slumming at the second hand stores, you can find alot of material really really cheap, linen in the number one find there, sometimes you have to re-dye it, "Daisy yellow just makes you a target" but it is there very often, and you never no what other cool things youll find

I got some shimmery material from the DI to do an applique logo on the garb I made for my friend Adam at Samhain. Cheap cheap cheap.

Last summer, I was walking with Pete to the park and saw two kids playing with old school, 8 ft long Dag-style glaives (large and round). I asked them where they got them from and they said their grandpa found them at the DI for $10 each. The kids could barely even hold the things and I was so tempted to give them $20 to get my hands on them, but I felt bad like I would have ripped the kids off.

I am pretty sure that the kids would have takin the twenty bucks and been just fine with it.
