So, I've noticed a recurring theme in the past month or so of practices mostly pertaining to hit calibration, shot calling (both ways), and safety (injuries, improper weapon usage).
The Realm Council and I have held discussions after practice re: these items and have attempted to correct them through aggressive heralding on the field and through class discussions during our Realm announcements each week. After observing the field and having discussions with Realm members in addition to the council, I feel that these issues are not being taken seriously or corrected as quickly as I feel they ought to in spite of the Realm's concerted efforts to impart knowledge.
That being said, I'm going to collaborate with the Realm Council to codify a few paragraphs that will be stickied here on the forums for quick reference on the official stances the Realm has taken on these subjects. This isn't going to pertain so much to any disciplinary actions - as there is already a process for that sort of thing, were it to even be a necessary option - as it will simply be an easy to find and to read "hey, take this into consideration when you're on the field if you want others and yourself to have a good time and not be labeled a cheater/jerk, etc."
Your opinions and input are encouraged and welcome. Feel free to post here or in PM to myself or any Realm Council member. Specific examples and names are appreciated. Please keep all posts professional and mindful of feelings. Just the facts ma'am.
