Realm First Aid Kit

In light of Ogre's injury, Wain and Sarah had mentioned wanting to start bringing a first aid kit to practice, just in case it was needed.

I think this is a very good idea, though we'll have to remember the limits of our first responder training, etc.

I don't believe that Realm finances should be used at this time because we're still going to need them for securing a spot for WoR III. If anyone would like to donate supplies or a small amount of cash, then send me a PM.

Things we'd be looking for:

  • Tool box
  • 3 ice packs
  • 2 ace bandage rolls
  • Box of bandaids
  • rubbing alcohol / betadine/iodine
  • rubber gloves
  • gauze wrap
  • coban
  • 2x2 / 4x4 bandages
  • 2 clean new washcloths to control bleeding

My wife might be able secure some of these for us at no cost, possibly reduced cost.

Your thoughts / additions?

that is a good idea, even if we all pitch in a few dollars or so. we should have one on hand at practice and events

I can donate alcohol, bandaids and coban. I also have some gloves, but not a whole box. That spray on bandage 'nu-skin' stuff might be a good idea. It's quick, effective, flexible, sanitary and antiseptic, but out stings like crazy. I use it because it stays on, but my kids won't let me near them with it.

I literally have 62 cents, but if the realm wants it for a first aid kit, I can donate it. :P
