Reds double-teaming in a line

Okay, I added this to the Videos page, but I wanted to get some comments on one section. The whole video is awesome, but watch the two guys working red together from 2:05. I LOVE the way these two guys are coordinating their red attacks to decimate the enemy's shields and the other side really can't do much about it.

Also notice, the jav hit that one of them doesn't recognize. Someone on his team needed to tell him that was a jav.

It is a great tactic and one that I try to get our newbie visitors to attempt when they pick up a red and have no idea what to do with it.

Not only does it annihilate shields, but the new guys can have some "security" and confidence by being teamed up with someone. You just need a shield bearer to be able to jump in quickly in case they get approached by spearmen or skirmishers.

They work very well with the shield users in this example, but what I especially loved is the way the two red users are working together. Team min-red is rocking here.

That was cool, I've bean looking around for red fighting stuff but can't really find anything that helps with min red. I watched those pole arm videos and was able to apply it to my red, but a lot of that is only practical for the pole arm. Does anyone have any links for videos or anything else that will help me learn to fight with min. reds?

Hi Keith, who are you?

On the right side of the forum are a bunch of links. One of them is "Training" and another is "Videos". Isk has put up a ton of good knowledge there.

If you can't find what you're looking for or just need more, check out the Belegarth and Dagorhir main forums. Lots of information is out there.

Welcome to our forums!

Hahaha It's Cameron. In a spurt of inside jokery mixed with movie quotes, he finally got me to stop wanting to call him Camerroni.

welcome Keith, here are some good threads from the Bel board:

I can also show you a bunch of martial arts training material for longsword, which actually carries over remarkably well. If you'd like, I can sit and watch and give you advice at practice.
