broken/dislocated left pinky at the middle joint.

small bone chip came off, but no fractures.

6-8 weeks +/- no fighting

3 weeks no typing at work. Hopefully they'll just let me use sick time. All i can do is chop sticks.

Other than that I'm great. They numbed it up, reset it, and gave me a splint. I see a specialist in 1 week.

Bear and Tona stayed with me and then we went to Denny's.

Don't feel bad about dagger fights. This was a fluke that could have happened to anyone. And we could run this scenario 1,000 times and never have the injury happen again.

Honestly, I think this happened for a reason.

At least they were able to reset it, you didn't want to fight holding your weapon like a cup of tea :-p

OMG thats horrible tibbs.. hate to hear that you're not gonna be able to make it that's ok though we will take plenty of pictures and fight hard for ya.. i'm so sad i hope you're not in any pain more than anything what the heck happened?.

I was dagger fighting with Bear and he went to stab at me and I swept his arm away, but our hands/arms met and my pinky lost.

It's actually bending ok and not in too much pain - pretty much a dull ache with no medication. I'm lucky - probably could have reset it myself on the field.
