I would like all vets to show up in full garb on Wednesday (2 days from now) so we can take pictures. Brian, you too if you can get in it just to be a garbed face in the crowd. We'll submit other pics of you fighting.
This includes you ladies too! Garb up! Makeup....up!

Its a shame that we'll have to fight at night with poor lighting.

Isk and scottsman, if you can, please bring your lights and extension cords.

Everyone who has spare garb should bring it to clothe the naked.

I want the Realm to get some recognition here and ride the wave. We'll do this right and submit some cool stuff that is hard hitting and athletic.

Put on your game faces people, we're going to be fabulous.

There has been a lot of negative feedback from the community about being portrayed on TV by unscrupulous folks for ratings. The concern is that no matter what kind of front we attempt to portray they can and will probably edit it to make us look like recluses and socially inept people who live and die for a game because its our escape from the crushing realities of life.

Whether or not this would be the case, the potential is there, and its a risk that many in the community are simply not willing to take.

That said, I've posted a thread in the Utah forum on the Bel boards asking what sort of cooperation we could all do to make a high quality educational/recruitment video about (at least) Regional Belegarth. Tails got the discussion going in this thread.

Having complete control over the content and putting it in an organized format that could be copied and compared to other regional bel videos would make us look more organized and serve as a base point for future endeavors.

Thoughts?

Thoughts! We have a plethora of footage of ATD stored on our computers.....right Isk ;), adding to the amount of footage already collaborated perhaps with enthusiasm we can get footage of individual footage interviews of players describing characters....What about those thoughts? Allow me to bring Garb as mentioned on Face Book. The feel of the proposal is that of a call for enthusiastic confident characters. The pizzazz that makes Television viewing a form of entertainment. As having watched television the longest, and yes I can claim that because I'm the gal with the highest chronological number on the field, lol, drawing on my particular view point could be an asset to this endeavor. As for the other articles ya posted after the casting call, I jumped right to answering the initial post. As we( Brian and Me) have learned with the Television Broadcasting Editing, who ya are and how ya are portrayed on television are not always accurate, mostly the editing carves, slices and dices your statements to create a message the producer and director wish to create to give the public what Gallup Ratings have census and formed into statistical data of interest. If doing this gets me the chance of meeting the cast and crew of Unicorn City and also possibly a chance to see the film Unicorn City then ya can count me in as a major player, lol.

I think it is a good idea,it will let people see us as a sport not just a bunch of geeks dressing up and throwing bean bags at each other, well there is ampgard, no disrespect inteneded, well mabe alittle. As for a escape for our mundane life, well it is in a way, just like people playing fantasy sports but our fantasy sport comes with injuries,I am not embarassed about putting on my very cool uniform and going out and bashing someone and being bashed myself. we are a physical sport, we are a proud sport a quick moving sport unlike the "american past time baseball" were you actually have a organized stretch in the middle of the game. I think it would be a good idea and I hope the rest of the relms in Utah would junp on the praverbial band wagon and help our sport out.
